Apply right here on our eRoC portal for any grade between 1 to 9. Here’s what you need for your new application:

• Log-in details (CRS number, email, and password).
• A bank card (with a minimum balance of R450,00). You will need to make a payment to conclude your transaction.

Follow these simple steps to apply:

• Step 1: From our homepage, click on “Online Registration for Contractors”
• Step 2: Type in your CRS number, email address, and password (then tick terms and conditions & click sign in)
• Step 3: Click on “Start application”
• Step 4: Click on “New application”
• Step 5: Verify company information, click on “Next” until you arrive at the principal and ownership section
• Step 6: Click on red pen to edit, add all the details required and click on “Next”
• Step 7: The system will show you all the classes of works. Select the class of work and the grade you wish to apply for. Click on “Next”
• Step 8: On the declaration page, under designation, write the position you hold in your company e.g., Director, PA, etc. Click on terms and conditions and then submit button
• Step 9: Click on “Make payment”
• Step 10: Click on “Make payment” (click here to read more about making a payment.)
• Step 11: You will be directed to our secure online payment
• Step 12: Choose a payment method
• Step 13: Click on “Pay”

All Grades 2 to 9 applications require the supporting documents below to be complete. Click here to read about the upload.

• Company registration documents
• ID copies of directors
• Shareholder certificates
• Electrical license (for EB class of work)
• Tax compliance status pin
• Track record (click here for track record requirements in each grade)
• Stamped (not older than 3 months) bank statements or VAT 201 and statement of account for verification of turnover
• Additional documents may be required for verification and processing

Please note that Grade 1 applications are activated within 48 hours. The outcome of Grades 2 – 9 applications will be done within 21 days to finalise the outcome, provided all documents are compliant.
