Creating a profile takes about 10-15 minutes depending on if you are a first-time user or an existing user.

For Grade 1 applications, your registration is an immediate process. For Grades 2 -9 applications, your registration is processed within 21 working days.

  • The cidb has integrated systems with the National Treasury’s Central Supplier Database and moved grades 1 to 9 applications online.
  • With the online application fully active for all cidb Grades, our register’s suspension for tax non-compliance is now automatic.
  • If you are not tax compliant with SARS, you cannot upgrade or renew your status with the cidb. It will hinder you from completing your application. Ensure that you are tax-compliant before attempting to apply the cidb.
