Worker’s Day Community Outreach Event

Honouring the hands that build. Rebuilding Communities, Restoring Dignity.

On 𝟬𝟭 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, the Department of Public Works and Infrastructure, in partnership with the cidb, will host a 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗱𝗮𝗹𝗲, 𝗣𝗶𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘇𝗯𝘂𝗿𝗴, a powerful, people-centred initiative focused on recognition, engagement and delivery

𝗟𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 Dean Macpherson MP, the event brings government closer to the community, translating commitment into meaningful action.

𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Celebrating the contribution and dignity of construction workers.
𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: Connecting communities to opportunities and support programmes.

With approximately 400 community members expected, this initiative reflects a shared commitment to building not just infrastructure, but stronger, more inclusive communities.
