The Construction Industry Development Board (cidb) invites all stakeholders to review and comment on the Draft Standard for Uniformity in Construction Procurement (SFU) Version 2, which has been published in the Government Gazette for public comment.
The draft Standard has been gazetted and is now available for public review. The cidb encourages contractors, procuring entities, built environment professionals, industry bodies and all interested stakeholders to participate in shaping the future of construction procurement in South Africa.
The Draft SFU is published in Government Gazette No. 55046, dated 24 July 2026. The relevant notice appears on pages 978–1024.
