Launch of the iWS–cidb Centre of Excellence in Sustainable Construction and 4IR in TVET Education

Join us for the official launch of the iWS–cidb Centre of Excellence in Sustainable Construction and 4IR in TVET Education, a milestone moment for the future of skills development in South Africa’s construction industry.
The programme will feature addresses by Mr Buti Kgwaridi Manamela, Minister of Higher Education and Training, and Deputy Minister of the Department of Public Works and Infrastructure, Mr Sihle Zikalala.
This Centre is set to drive innovation, digital transformation and sustainable construction practices, while addressing critical skills gaps through stronger collaboration between industry, academia and government.
Expect insights into how the Centre will support:
• Work-ready skills and learnership pathways
• 4IR and technology integration in construction
• Stronger partnerships to unlock opportunities for learners and contractors
