The Infrastructure Delivery Management Toolkit is integral to and underpins the Infrastructure Delivery Improvement Programme (IDIP) currently in roll-out by the National Treasury in partnership with the cidb, The Department of Public Works and the Development Bank of Southern Africa.

IDIP is currently being rolled-out in the provincial departments of Education and Health following a successful 9-month pilot and assessment. A Memorandum of Understanding between the cidb, the National Treasury and the Department of Public Works, establishes principles and guidelines for cooperation to improve public sector infrastructure delivery and the rollout of IDIP.
