Notice of Temporary Office Closure for Staff Training in Provincial Offices
Notice is hereby given of temporary office closures at cidb provincial offices during the months of November and December 2014. This is due to staff training in order to improve our services to stakeholders. The closure will affect all provinces with the exception of Gauteng, which will continue to provide a limited service during the affected period. Offices will be closed on the scheduled dates for a total period of three hours from 09h00 until 12h00. The North West and Northern Cape Offices will be closed for the whole day. The schedule of affected dates for the different provinces is as follows:
Eastern Cape; 24 November 2014; 09h00 - 12h00
Limpopo; 25 November 2014; 09h00 - 12h00
Western Cape; 01 December 2014; 09h00 - 12h00
KwaZulu Natal; 02 December 2014; 09h00 - 12h00
Mpumalanga; 03 December 2014; 09h00 - 12h00
Free State; 10 December 2014; 09h00 - 12h00
Northern Cape; 10 December 2014; 08h00 - 16h30
North West; 12 December 2014; 08h00 - 16h30

The cidb Launches its Second 5 Year Review
The second 5 Year Review of the cidb was launched on 14 September 2014 by the Minister of Public Works, Honourable Thulas Nxesi. The Review will focus on efficiency and effectiveness of the cidb, the quality of the cidb Programmes in terms of international best practice as well as reviewing the performance of the cidb in relation to its mandate and objects as stated in the cidb Act, Act 38 of 2000.
