Two additional Construction Contact Centres launched
The cidb has in partnership with provincial and national departments of Public Works launched two more Construction Contact Centres (CCCs) in the Mpumalanga and Northern Cape provinces. The CCCs are a platform for contractor development and stakeholder partnerships and also allow easy access to services to contractors in the provinces.
Construction Contact Centres opened
The cidb, in partnership with provincial and national departments of Public Works has opened Construction Contact Centres (CCCs) in KwaZulu Natal, Western Cape, Northern Cape and Gauteng. The centres were officially opened by the Minister of Public Works, Ms Thoko Didiza, the Deputy Minister of Public Works, Mr Ntopile Kganyango and the Western Cape Transport and Public Works MEC Mr Marius Fransman during July and August 2007. The CCCs provide a variety of services including contractor registration and help desk support.
