The CIDB identified the key legislation that impacts on the industry and has provided
summaries of those acts which are considered to be of major impact to the industry.
The list of key acts, together with the summaries that have been drafted, can be
found here.
In response to the industry's need for a construction industry legislation compendium,
the CIDB undertook the following activities:
- Identification of all relevant legislation impacting on the construction industry.
- Identification of a group of stakeholders.
- Identification and appointment of industry experts by stakeholders
- Compilation of the compendium
- Publication/website
CIDB has made arrangements with Jutastat to assist with updating and maintaining
the legislation compendium with amended Acts.
