​After leaving IBM SA to explore his entrepreneurial ambitions, Lufuno Nevhutalu started two successful information technology companies, one of which was bought by Computer Configuration Holdings (CCH) (Pty) Ltd, a listed entity. Lufuno subsequently became Executive Director of CCH managing 17 subsidiaries. He later founded Cornastone Holdings (Pty) Ltd, an IT company represented in South Africa and Namibia, where he is currently the Executive Chairman and Group CEO.  He is also a board member of SAP SA and serves as the Chairperson for Black Technology Empowerment Corporation and SysDBA.

  

With over 30 years in the Construction industry, Chris Jiyane started his career as a resident architect and architectural technician, team leader for MLH Architects, before moving to project management for CJB Building Construction. After this, he co-founded and was appointed Joint Managing Director of Rainbow Construction and later became the company's CEO. Chris has sat on numerous boards and a director of major construction companies in RSA. He is the founder and director of Hloma Building, Construction Infrastructure Investments and Siji Holdings. ​​

  

Natalie Skeepers has more than 19 years of experience in Governance, Risk and Compliance, specialising in the Occupational Health and Safety discipline. She is a member of several professional organisations and affiliations, both local and international. Natalie holds a PhD in Engineering Management from the University of Johannesburg, MSc in Health Safety and Environment, MPhil in HIV/AIDS Management from the University of Southern Queensland, Australia and Stellenbosch, respectively. She also serves on other boards, including the Rail Safety Regulator and Film and Publication Board.

  

Denzel Maduray's forte is project management with over 20 years of experience. He has completed many projects including consulting assignments, traditional construction and mega turnkey construction. He is registered with the Project Management Institute of the USA as a PMP®. Denzel was personally responsible for developing the project management processes for the 16 Gauteng Schools in the ASIDI project. He leads project and programme management at Aurecon's Sandton major office.

 

  

​Hareesh Patel has over 35 years of experience in the building and construction industry.  His areas of expertise include quantity surveying; SCM; tendering and estimating; project management and construction management; mentoring candidates in quantity surveying and construction project management. His extensive career includes holding several executive positions. He is a past chairperson of the Services Seta Project Management Chamber and current Chairman and Director of Project Management of South Africa (PMSA).

  

​A registered Chartered Engineer, Lefadi Makibinyane is currently the CEO of Amatola Water Board. His professional experience over the last 24 years was gained from Anglo American Coal, Engen Refinery, SASOL, Nampak, South African Breweries (SAB), Industrial Development Corporation (IDC), Export Credit Insurance Corporation (ECIC), Fieldstone Africa, WestLB AG, City of Tshwane Metropolitan Municipality where he occupied Senior Engineering and Management positions. He is also a member of the Black Economic Empowerment Advisory Council to the State President of the Republic of South Africa.

  

Lindelwa's academic qualifications include a MSc. (Civil) Engineering, Master of Town and Regional Planning, Graduate Diploma in Engineering, B. Admin. and Dip. Financial Management. During her career in the construction and built environment, Lindelwa has held planning, leadership and senior executive management positions in various private, public and multilateral organisations. She has served in Executive/Non-Executive Director and Member capacities on public sector Boards, private sector Councils and Associations. She is a previous Chairperson of the cidb; during a previous term, she was the cidb's Deputy Chairperson.

  

​Mandisa is currently serving as the Acting Head of the Policy Branch for the Department of Public Works, making her responsible for policy development and regulation of the construction and property sectors. During her vast career in the public sector, she has held several directorship positions including being Director: Strategic Planning and Research in a major development agency in South Africa and Director of an NGO.  She holds a Master degree in sociology and has completed numerous​ leadership courses during her career – both local and international.  

  

​Mike Makhura is the founder and Managing Director of Vutivi Management Services, a management consultancy that specialises in public sector management and governance. Prior to consulting, he worked at a strategic level in the development and government sector. He has refined expertise in strategy, organisational restructuring, corporate governance, stakeholder management; project management and M&E.  Mike holds several specialist postgraduate qualifications which include a Bachelor of Law (UNISA); Post –Graduate Diploma in Corporate Law (UJ); MSc (Building) in project management in construction (Wits School of Economics and Construction Management) and Master of Management (Wits Business School).

  

After working for Grinaker's piling division for 20 years, Nico Mass founded Gauteng Piling, where he served as the company's Managing Director. He remains the Chairman of Gauteng Piling. In his long career, Nico has served on numerous boards and committees and is the past president of Master Builders Association. His academic qualifications include a BSc in Civil Engineering and a Master in Engineering specialising in Construction Management.

 

  

Sipho MosaI is a well-rounded business leader with vast management and leadership experience in various sectors including retail, property management, laboratory services, water and sanitation sectors.  He is  currently the Chief Operations Officer (COO) of Rand Water. Among his areas of accountability are bulk water production and distribution, marketing and sales, scientific services, engineering and strategic asset management and bulk sanitation.  During his vast career, Sipho has held several leadership roles and sits on various boards, including being the chairman of Umzamo Analytical Services. He has published and presented a number of papers on water services locally and internationally. He holds a Masters degree in Microbiology and a Masters degree in Business Management.
